Injini incubator programme is giving an opportunity for EdTech entrepreneurs in Africa to get specialist mentoring, support and funding.
Injini EdTech incubator programme realizes the need to trial and refine ideas in the education sector, for a fast changing world. It is, therefore, inviting entrepreneurs in, based in or focused on Africa to take part in this initiative.
Injini is aiming at for-profit ideas that use technology to improve education for a broad section of the population.
As a successful applicant, you’ll get the opportunity to work with leading academic partners, of Injini, and other EdTech experts. You would also benefit from technical support to develop your ideas.
On top of the invaluable networking opportunity, the programme will also be dishing out up to sh.5 million ($50k) in funding to the cohort of entrepreneurs. In return, Injini seeks 9% equity in post revenue startups or 15% equity in pre-profit startups.
The cohort will undergo the incubator programme between July and December 2018, in Cape Town. All costs towards this will be fully catered for by Injini.
