Do you have a great idea on dealing with one of the challenges caused by Climate change? You should therefore apply for SingularityU East Africa Global Impact Challenge and stand to impact one billion people worldwide in 10 years.
Some of the areas covered by this challenge include: energy, water, environment, food, disaster resilience, governance, learning, health, space and security. The winner will attend the Global Solutions Program at Singularity University, in Mountain View, California, at no cost.
Eligibility
- You must be a resident or citizen in any of the East African countries
- You should be at least 21 years old
- You should be fluent in written and spoken English
- Able to participate for the entire Global Solutions Program 2017
If you are selected among the finalists, be prepared for an interview by a panel of judges on 24th Marhc, 2017. Some of the criteria they will use to determine finalists include:
- Relevance of your solution to the SingularityU East Africa Global Impact Challenge
- Relevance to a challenge in East Africa
- Feasibility, Viability and Coherence of your idea
- Entrepreneurial and innovative potential
- Your leadership experience and quality, profile, achievements and potential
