Nairobi Tech Week 2018, powered by Moringa School, is inviting your application for the event themed, “The Role of Technology in Problem Solving for Africa’s Future.”
This window is will remain open from 19th March to 31st March, 2018. Nairobi Tech Week is the largest tech event in Sub-Saharan Africa. It emphasizes the product makers, who oft, work in the background like developers, designers, data scientists and engineers.
Main Oganizer, Sandra Mukidza expressed excitement over this edition, of Nairobi Tech Week, and promises that it will continue to be community driven.
She also said, “Last year, Nairobi Tech Week was an incredible success. This year, with the support of our partners, industry players and sponsors, we hope to attract more participants.”

In its 3rd year, a minimum of 800 individuals are expected to attend. An impressive feat from the, estimated, 450 who turned up in 2016.
Strathmore University will host Nairobi Tech Week 2018 between the 19th and 21st of April. Microsoft will be the headline sponsor.
The 3 days will certainly be action-packed, including awards for impact stories, idea generation and tech makers. Day 1 of the proceedings will involve workshops for developers and designers to better what they do.
Day 2 and 3 will have more workshops and panels to go with. There will also be a hackathon and we are informed that there will be “incredible” prizes to be won.
