The Access Co-development Facility (ACF) 2016 is a US$7 million financial support mechanism dedicated to finding local power project developers and originators with scalable projects in Africa. They will provide funding, technical experience and expertise to bring their ideas to life.
The winners will enter a joint venture deal where Access Power, a Dubai-absed developer sponsoring the competition, will take an equity stake in the winning projects and fund development costs such as feasibility and grid studies, environmental; and social impact assessments and due diligence.
Eligibility
- Your company must be located in Africa
- It must use commercially-proven technologies
- Must be renewable energy ventures such as solar, wind, hydro, hybrid and bio-mass
