Commonwealth100 free leadership program for young people

The Commonwealth100 leadership program is free and an opportunity for young people to gain practical skills and discover their own leadership styles.

It’s open to individuals 18 years and older from or living in a Commonwealth country. Kenya is one of the 53 member states of, this organization, the Commonwealth of Nations. Commonwealth100 is being offered by Common Purpose. This is a non-profit organization that trains leaders worldwide.

Applying for this free program would be an opportunity for you to develop your leadership skills. For example, become more socially conscious. There is also the opportunity to continue building your network.

Commonwealth100 program will take place online. It will involve interactive exercises, compelling readings and peer discussions. The entire course takes 3 to 6 hours to complete. And you can do this at your convenience.

There is no deadline for application. It doesn’t mean you get lazy now. Each cohort undergoes the program for 7 weeks before leaving room for others. So you can complete your turn, in 2019, as part of a cohort falling between the following dates:

  • 4th January – 22nd February
  • 1st March – 19th April
  • 3rd May – 21st June
