D-Prize is an organization dedicated to expanding poverty-alleviation solutions in the developing regions of the World. It does this by funding social entrepreneurs.

Social entrepreneurs from anywhere in the world, of any background and of any age are invited by D-Prize to address one of these Distribution Challenges:
- Girls Education (unintended teen pregnancy)
- Agriculture (quality seeds, fertilizer, better farm practices, custom agriculture)
- Energy (solar lamp, cook stove)
- Health (patient identification, maternal health, voluntary male circumcision, HIV mother-to-child-transmission, Sayana women contraceptive, immunization)
- Education (flipped classrooms, student testing)
- Governance and Infrastructure (transparency and data on public service)
- Custom (propose your own challenge)
Only existing organizations will are eligible for the Sh.2 million grant. This will be determined by the selection rounds below:
- Round 1: Submit your concept note and resume(s)
- Round 2: the top 5% of applicants will be invited to submit a 10-page proposal
- Round 3: the top entrepreneurs from round 2 will undergo an interview and one among them will receive the Sh.2 million grant to start a venture in 3 months
