1.Who is Joan?
Joan is a rational girl who is a problem solver. She is open minded about what will work best. She also enjoys socializing meeting and working with different people.
2.Tell us about your business
Grow My Hustle is a platform that helps startups, small business and Kenyan creatives fund-raise to carry out projects. In return for the funds raised, they give rewards to their backers. For example currently on the site we have an author Michael Onsando who is seeking funds to publish his book and in return he is giving his backers a copy of his book, tote bags among other interesting rewards. Therefore it is a win-win for both parties.
3.How did you raise funds to start ‘Grow My Hustle’?
Our business is self funded . We are three founders; we came together and raised the funds.
4.What has been your biggest achievement so far?
I am currently still a student. Thus school is an important part of my life right now. My greatest achievement is being able to balance school and work. At school I am doing BBIT and CPA. Additionally, I also manage to be part of the Grow My Hustle team.
