Are you a woman entrepreneur in Kenya? Do you believe in your potential to succeed? If yes, don’t miss the opportunity to be part of 2019 Launch and Grow fellowship.

The Launch and Grow fellowship intends to create growth opportunities for “high potential” women entrepreneurs. These women can then go on to create “extraordinary” economic and social value. It has been made possible by collaboration of Women Foundation for Africa, Banco Santander and Babson College.

DON’T MISS: OTHER OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUNG KENYANS

This fellowship will involve a one-week residency at Babson College in Massachusetts, USA, from 16th to 22nd June, 2019. There will also be post-program coaching and mentorship in Nairobi. A few of the things you’ll learn more about during the fellowship include:

  • Creative and design thinking
  • Business model development
  • Financing
  • Building effective teams
  • Learning from failure
  • Marketing and brand building

There is way more. All business women in Kenya, regardless of citizenry, and operating in any industry are welcomed to apply. In 2019, a maximum of 14 women will be picked. There are two groups to apply under.

You can apply as an emerging entrepreneur. This is for women who have been running a business for at least 3 years and a maximum of 5 years. The business should have potential to scale or grow.

Alternatively, you can apply as an experienced entrepreneur. This is for women who have been running a business for a minimum of 10 years or have been holding executive roles in existing businesses, for a similar time period.

Launch and Grow will grant an allowance of sh.98,020 (€845) towards the program. But every participant will be responsible for acquiring travel visa to the USA in June, 2019.

Do you want this strong start to your year? Great! Visit the official webpage to learn more and apply. Deadline for application is 15th February, 2019.
