Register a company in Nairobi in 3 steps

You can now register a company in Nairobi in only 3 steps. You will now make only two physical stops.

HerBusiness previously held your hand through registering a company in Kenya. We did simplify the procedure of getting your business registered; but yeah, it was some elaborate process.

Well, now the Government has reduced it to only 3 straightforward steps.

1. Reserve company name

You can reserve your company name at Huduma Centre for sh.100 per name. This process is also possible through eCitizen.

2. Apply for company registration

Download and complete the unified company registration application form. It combines the, previous, stops for Company Registration, KRA, PIN, NHIF and NSSF registration. Get the form here and submit for sh.10,000 at GPO or City Square Huduma Centers.

Thereafter, collect Certificate of Incorporation as well as KRA, PIN and NHIF registration certificates at the Companies Registry.

3. Apply for Business Permit

Finally, apply for a Business Permit on the Nairobi City Council Website.
