The 2nd edition of Africa Entrepreneurship Award is open for submission of business proposals.
Africa Entrepreneurship Awards (AEA) 2016 is accepting submission of business proposals. The award is powered by BMCE Bank of Africa. It aims to equip African entrepreneurs with tools to impact their communities through businesses.
Business ideas must be relevant to education, environment or any uncharted, high-impact, market in Africa. This goes with the theme to have the idea improve lives in Africa. The Africa Entrepreneurship Award partners entrepreneurs, business leaders and academics from across the globe.
These partners provide online mentoring and relevant advice on succeeding as an entrepreneur in Africa. The award also present USD $ 1 Million to be shared among chosen proposals.
Eligibility
- You must be a citizen of an African country
- You must be atleast 18 years old as of October 1st, 2016
- Your business must be applicable in an African country
- Your business idea must include a technological component
- Your business must be for profit’
- Your business must be relevant to education, environment or an uncharted market
Proposals for businesses that are already in operation will be accepted. The application deadline is on May 6th, 2016. Register and apply.
