On Thursday, March 17th, 2016 VC4Africa is having a meetup in Nairobi! The meetup is organized at Vogue Café (at the National Museum, Kipande Road, Nairobi, Kenya) from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM and is hosted by VC4A team member Alina Vinogradova and VC4A community member Jasper Grosskurth.
Special guests are Oxfam, ButterflyWorks and IOM – alliance partners of VC4A in the Work in Progress! Project that kicks off in Nairobi the same week. The project aims to improve youth employment in Nigeria, Egypt and Somalia, so their partners from these countries will also join. It will be a, truly, international crowd.
There’s a big reason to celebrate – the launch of the redesigned VC4A.COM platform, the new home for VC4Africa community. For all guests arriving before 6:30 pm the first drink is on the house.
The central question for the member entrepreneurs and investors will be: What do you think of the new VC4Africa platform?
The event is free of charge, there is no agenda, no speakers and everyone is expected to pay for their own drinks. It’s an informal event and the dress code is business casual. VC4Africa will work with a guest list, if you want to attend you have to sign up. Please only request a ticket if you know you are going to attend the event. Otherwise you potentially take a spot of another member.
