Technovation Challenge 2018 is inviting a new cohort of girls, worldwide, to participate in developing solutions to real-world problems.
Technovation Challenge is an annual event, started in 2010, for young girls to apply their business and tech skills in solving problems in their community. So far, over 10,000 girls from 78 countries have been involved.

The program involves 4 steps. First, the girls have to identify a problem. They then develop a mobile app solution to solve it. Lastly, they will be mentored in bringing their solution to the market as a fully fledged business.

Technovation Challenge is open to girls and their mentors. The girls must be of ages between 10 and 18 years. They are to form teams of a maximum of five members (previous knowledge on programming is not necessary). The respective teams will retain ownership of the code they come up with and Intellectual Property Rights.
Deadline for application is 7th March, 2018. If you are interested all you’ll need is a team, a safe place to meet and a laptop to come up with your solution.
