Youth Citizen Entrepreneurship Competition

Youth Citizen Entrepreneurship Competition 2016

Youth Citizen Entrepreneurship Competition is a global program to empower young people to implement the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

Youth Citizen Entrepreneurship program looks to empower young entrepreneurs, worldwide, to create a sustainable world. It’s organized by Digital Experts United, Goi Peace Foundation and Stiftung Entrepreneurship.

This program supports implementation of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. It utilizes youth innovation to realize a better world.

Young people across the globe are invited to submit their ideas and projects with a social impact. They should address one or more of the challenges to meet the Sustainable Development Goals. You must be aged between 15 and 35.

There are three steps to completing the submission of your idea:

Step 1: Register online and create an account. You will receive an email confirmation.

Step 2: Submit your idea or project. You will submit a preliminary entry form for review. If you pass the screening you will provide more details in a secondary entry form. Rejected entries can be refined up until deadline day.

Step 3: Entries will be posted on the competition website. They can be viewed and commented on by online community members thus giving you an opportunity to refine it.

Selection of winners

Entries will be subject to a public online vote. The 10 entries receiving most votes in the two categories (project and idea) will be considered finalists.

Finalists are requested to submit videos to judges; who will decide on the final three winners.

The deadline for applications is 30th June, 2016. Visit the Competition’s official website for more information.
